Jessica Zaehringer, MA, MSW, LCSW (she/her/hers) was born and raised in Chicago. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, as well as a master’s degree in Women’s Studies and Gender Studies (MA) and a master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) with a specialization in Mental Health, from Loyola University Chicago. During graduate school her research included the social, political, economic impacts of state, local, and federal policies; trauma-informed care; and mental health stigma. Prior to graduate school, Jessica worked as a community organizer. Currently, Jessica works full-time as a clinical operations coordinator at a mental health non-profit. She also works part-time as a psychotherapist in private practice. In her free time she enjoys biking, cooking vegan food, and spending time with friends.
