Assessment author, executive coach and leadership trainer Jen Hall sits down with our hosts to discuss her experience guiding our inaugural SWIM Summit, and digs into what prospective applicants can expect during the professional development session—-and throughout their career trajectory.
Jen spent almost 20 years as a coaching talent manager—selecting, developing and supervising executive coaches—for the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) and its network associate in Florida, the Leadership Development Institute (LDI) at Eckerd College. For over 6 years, she has managed her own leadership consultancy firm, Mindset Coaching.
Jen has worked with executives from all over the world and from organizations representing such diverse industries as consumer packaged goods, entertainment, financial services, health care, hospitality, IT, music merchandise, technology, and telecommunications. Jen is certified and experienced in a wide variety of assessment instruments, and is herself the co-author of two. The Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile® (EMP) assesses 14 personality characteristics and skill sets that have been found to distinguish business owners from corporate managers. The Coaching Mindset Index® (CMI), available in both self-report and 360-degree formats, enables leaders and organizations not only understand and enhance the strategies they use to grow and develop their individual employees, but also to build and sustain a strong organizational coaching culture.
Jen provides both individual and group coaching, and is a qualified coaching supervisor, having completed the Oxford Brookes Coaching Supervision Programme as part of the second U.S.-based cohort.
Jen enjoys partnering with leaders to help them fully appreciate and leverage their strengths, minimize the impact of their weaknesses, and develop the kind of deep insight which allows them to make intentional choices in line with their beliefs, values and most cherished personal and professional goals. Jen’s coaching sessions are typically characterized by intellectual discovery, humor, and a focus on action.
A licensed psychologist and Board Certified Coach, Jen holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut and a B.S. degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. She lives with her husband and two children in Redington Beach, Florida.
