Join us in celebration of International Women’s Day for a productive networking session and discussion on the state of women leaders in MI and how to foster greater inclusion in the industry, and beyond.

DETAILS: Join SWIM’s International Women’s Day virtual networking and educational event on March 8th at 6pm EST. The event will be hosted by featured speaker entrepreneur Lisa Cruz as she kicks off an inspiring session of this year’s International Women’s Day theme of #ChoosetoChallenge focused on gender bias and inequality. Without challenge there will be no change and change is what is needed to create an inclusive world for us, our daughters, our peers and others. In order to challenge, we must speak up. Lisa will share what she has encountered along her journey, will invite participants to share with one another and will finish the session by inspiring all to commit to being the change we want to see and be. As a business owner and fierce advocate of women, Lisa encourages participants to share, care and use their individual and collective voices to power change. Lisa Cruz is the founder of Red Shoes Inc., a woman-owned strategic communications and marketing firm based in Wisconsin serving companies and organizations across the nation with a passion for speaking, empowering women and not settling.
